KK - Soldiers of the 167th TSC completed their yearly individual weapons qualification during a 4-day field training exercise on Feb. 27 to Mar. 2. They qualified on their assigned weapons at Clarke Range Complex in Anniston, Ala. Soldiers that qualify on the M4 Carbine must first complete a zero range in order to ensure that their weapon is properly zeroed. They then advance to the firing range where a series of pop-up targets are presented and they must fire from a multiple firing positions that vary from standing, prone, and kneeling. Weapons qualification is an essential Soldier skill that ensures a lethal and ready force.
